some ppl go crazy, some ppl go quiet, some ppl juz slp. i blabber.
whahahahaa i'm hme!! will be stayin hme till sunday. 6 days. n tt's the longest i'd be stayin at hme since june i tink. woah.
anw as u can see, i'm blogging this in the morn 8 plus. left hall at arnd 7. so early! actually caught the first sunrise i had ever seen in hall. the last time got see dawn breakin before la.. but nv actually see the sun rising.
hm decided to come hme so early cos js was gona go town, so i decided to join him so tt at least got company for half my journey hme.. not so boring.. whaaaha. was supposed to take train down but in the end took cab cos he was runnin late. n he paid for the cab fare. so i got a free ride down! hee. felt q bad cos it was partly my fault tt he was runnin late. whahaha opps..
hm anw, went past paragon n saw the christmas tree tt we see every yr in front of paragon. hahahah din realise tt its q tall until i saw the real ones tt they were sellin at the florist near my hse.. hm cant wait to see wat the taka one looks like this yr..

a post of favourites
1) My favourite animal
My new favourite animal is the penguin!! Not tt i dun like my old favourites anymore. juz tt this is added to my list of favourites. haha
Watched 'The March of the Penguins' ystd. I LOVE PENGUINS!! wahhaha. they make the best parents ever! they sacrifice so much for their young! n baby penguins are SOO cute!! my gosh. i feel like juz swimmin to antartica now to grab one to squeeze n cuddle! they are so so adorable! haaha ok u get the point.
u shld watch the show if u haven't. its a show with a gd mix of joy n sadness. its oso v heartwarming at times. it was sad when the parents die trying to protect the eggs from the cold. it was heart-wrenching when they showed how some of the penguins' eggs and life of the unborn chick in it gets taken away by the harsh weather. n even more so when they showed how some of the young chicks, aft surviving the numerous trials n obstacles, get frozen to death cos of the snow storm. wat almost brought tears to my eyes was the helplessness of the parents as they looked on at their hardwork n effort gone as their precious egg crack due to the cold winds, and their lifeless chick lying on the ground, frozen to death. they looked n nudged at them, but they would nv move again. nth tt i type here can describe wat i felt den. the 心酸 and 心痛. sobz.
but den again, of course there are joyous moments too. Watching as the chicks emerge from their shells, as they take their first step, as they waddle n tumble n fall as they walk, as they learn to be independent, i cant help but chuckle out w joy.
And when the family finally reunited, tho only for a short while, it was juz so heartwarming.
Though this show was about penguins, it resembles a human family too. the obstacles, the sadness, the joy.. and of course, the love. the love one has for his partner, the love a parent has for his child, the love tt makes one willing to sacrifice even his life for another, the love that can overcome all obstacles.

one part tt i tot was q farny was when the narrator was sayin that in order for the penguins to find each other in the enormous crowd, they muz rely on sound, not sight. hm... u mean they can actually differentiate hu is hu by lookin? they all look the same to me...
2) My favourite cooking apparatus
My favourite cooking apparatus now is the slow cooker. It used to be the oven when i was always at hme and had the time to bake. Now tt i'm in hall w no time to cook, using the slow cooker allows me to cook homecooked meals so much more easily. Usually juz throw throw everyt in den aft a few hours can eat le. whahahh simple n clean! hhahaah i feel like i'm a salesman for slow cookers.
3) My favourite holiday
Hm actually i dunno if its considered a holiday or a season or a festive season or wat .. but its CHRISTMAS! Christmans is coming, the goose is gettin fat! please put a penny in the old man's hat~
I oso dunno since when and how come i like christmas so much. but it always feels so joyous n festive when christmas is coming. N there seems to be some sort of magic in the air. woohoo!
hahha the christmas tree in my room is up! my third christmas in hall!

i love the christmas decorations at orchard. Its fun to stroll down orchard at night, takin in all the festive atmosphere and the beautiful lightings. I miss walkin down orchard in the middle of the night. haiz. There was this particular yr when the decorations were superb. It had a white and bluish theme and it was magical. its still so vivid in my mind. Ever since den, i din find any decorations tt could beat tt. but i still like them all. whaahaah

No more exams for the next 8 months!
YAY!! had my last paper for this sem ystd. so now i'm officially free! whaahaha
was typin the title for this post when i thought tt if some working class person were to read the title, he or she would be tinkg, 'siao... wats there to be happy abt.. i will have no more exams for the rest of my life..'.. bleagh. its a blessing to be able to be happy over things like tt k! cos it means tt i am still young, still stdyg and still able to enjoy life.
i remembered reading this comic strip abt this old guy who received a phone call sayin,' good news! your blood test showed normal sugar levels.' n a letter saying,' congratulations. this letter is to inform you tt your colon test reveals a healthy digestive tract.' n the old guy was tinkg tt the older he gets, the weirder the gd news. hm.. so its a bleesing to be tinkg tt i hve no more exams for the next 8 months rite?? whahah
anw was sittin at my exam desk aft the paper waiting for my paper to be collected when i suddenly realised i was damn hungry. hm den i realised i din notice tt i was hungry when i was doin the paper. n i attributed tt to my focus n concentration while i was doin the paper, which was gd. den i was tinkg.. now my concentration levels gd.. but dunno 10 yrs down the road will it still be so gd.. would i be much more easily distracted in 10 yrs??
hm maybe i shld really appreciate it now juz in case.. cos realised i had taken q alot of stuff for granted until i lost them. for example, i used to be able to run up the stairs to my house without stoppin, takin 2 steps at a time, when i was young. n i stay on the 21st storey. now ar.. u ask me to run up the stairs IN my house i oso tired liao lo..
n last time i used to be able to eat n eat n eat n wont grow fat cos my metabolism rate q gd. now ar.. i eat n eat n eat.. n grow n grow n grow sideways lo..
last time i'l shit all the excess, unhealthy n undigestible stuff out within few hrs of eatin it. now ar.. my digestive system like shit.. sometimes few days oso wont come out. whahaah ok tt's q gross..
n last time my wounds used to heal damn fast n no scars left behind. now ar.. can tell tt my wounds are takin a longer time to heal n sometimes will hve souvenirs from the wounds somemore..
hm... old le old le.. but still! still feelin blessed tt i can say tt i hve no more exams for the next 8 mths! whahahaha -_-"

Post Exam Blues?
hahah technically speakin, its not aft exams yet. i still got a paper on mon. Business finance.. haven touched it yet.. die.. haiz i tink i'm still the last min person tt i was before i left for US.. rmb i was sayin i wanna change this habit?.. damn. haha.
my papers unofficially ended on the 21st nov. went JP buy stuff n walk walk. went w kiat hu happened to be on his way back to hall. luckily he went too. whahhah cos i wanted to stop by joy's place to pass her ice cream n CD. So in the end he helped me carry all my stuff back to hall. he said sj n js helped him. whahaaha tt's how much stuff i bought. ok la.. oso not super alot la.. anw thx to them! hee
wed was a nua day. hahaa toked to yap xinli for almost 4 hrs. whahah she goin disneyland AGAIN! though its a diff one.. but still... whahaa aft tt cooked pasta n campbell soup w swan for dinner tgt w suemin.
went to visit xue on thurs. super long nv see her cos of exams. hm she'l be flyin off on the 28th dec to UK for exchange. hahaah so exciting. tink she n my sis can go travellin tgt man.. shall get my sis to meet up w her when she comes back in a few weeks' time.
cooked dinner for some of the guys upstairs. i cooked soup, ww cooked pasta n js cooked the pasta sauce (tho ww was the one hu taught js how to cook the sauce. haha.) the sauce was nice cos it was not the bottled type of pasta sauce. it was made w fresh tomatoes n ketchap. so interesting. first time i eat this type leh. next time i shall cook for u all to try. but dunno will turn out as nice not though. whahahah i'm q lousy w pasta.. i dunno why.. haha
aft tt went to watch movie! wa! super long nv watch movie le! ahahaha went to watch 'Step Up' w kiat. its a dance show. nice! they dancing parts were superb. somemore got cute guy n chio girl as the leadin actor n actress. feast for the eyes. yums. WHAHAAHA.
anw i watch le i really feel like pickin up ballet again. hmm.. anw been wanting to pick up some dance.. was tinkg of ballet, hip hop or salsa. shall go check out the CC near my hse. hm wanted to go hme aft the show but was too late le so came back to hall. hm ended up hvin a drink n tok kok session w js. feels gd to be able to juz do nth n chill.
next day went for medical checkup for my IA at the medical centre w js, hu needed to take a hep B jab for his exchange. met someone at the medical centre. (yap xinli n germy toh! can guess hu not?? whahaaha.) anw sianz la.
hm went for dinner at hall 2 den went hme. super long nv go hme lo! so was q happy to go hme. but den go hme le nv stdy at all!! hahhaah slacked my whole saturday away! hm called my sis. had lunch w my mum den dinner w my family den came back to hall. n den continue to slack.. slack until now.. haha
hm i juz realised there is juz so much stuff tt i wanna do! so much tt i dunno where to start.. haha the previuos to-do list i tink can void le.. haaha

My Favourite Soundtracks
My favourite soundtracks are from the animation 'Prince Of Egypt'. It the only soundtrack CD tt i hve cos I'm not a big fan of CDs, especially of soundtracks because i dun usually notice the music when i'm watchin movies unless its really gd.
I watched this movie when i was in sec 1 during netball camp. we had this mass movie goin session which was damn fun. the camp was really a memorable experience for me.. anw for now, i shall tok abt the CD.. hahaah. aft watchin the movie, i fell in love w a few of the soundtracks. I bought this CD from thailand when i was in sec 2 and till now, i still enjoy listening to it.
I love the 主打歌. but i oso like the other songs in the CD. All of them hve inspirational and meaningful lyrics, and the voices of the singers are wonderful. The instrunental parts are great too. hm usually when i feel down or helpless i'l listen to it. It lifts my spirits and keeps me hopeful! hee want can take fr me!

hm i hve a paper later at 5.. den one more tmr den time to party!! hee.. but den again... no one to party w me.. cos everyone still havin exams.. haaahaah so to all my frens, anywhere in the world, hu are still having exams (tt includes myself) , all the best!! hang on for a while more!
hm alot of my frens had already generated a list of to-do things for aft exams.. so i shall come up w one too.
in no order of importance:
- cut hair (i can only see this screen w one eye while i'm typing this.. the other eye covered by my fringe.. damn)
- go JB (go get cheap coloured contact lens.. wat colour shld i get ar?!? so exciting!)
- go search for hamsters (dark brown hamsters wat breed one??)
- organise BBQ (hee.. i miss bbq!)
- nightcycling
- go sentosa (wa super long nv go le... now oso no more beach buds to go w... all overseas! argh!)
- go orchard (juz to go walk walk... i haven officially been there since i went US.. tt's almost half a yr lo!)
- go eat dim sum n buffets (yums!)
- pack my rooms (both hall n home.. sianz)
- clean 肥肥's tank (i tink i 2 mths nv clean le... poor her)

weitao's lappy n wallet got stolen when he went to bathe.
everyone was in the readin room when vincent, his roommate, made some exclamations... which were really q loud cos i could hear them though i was listening to my mp3 player. so all of us turned to look n him when he told us the bad news. all of us left immediately to go try help him retreive his stuff... if possible..
wat happened exactly was tt tao went to bathe. he met larry in the toilet hu happened to be leavin the toilet. n when he finished bathing he went back to his rm to find his lappy n wallet gone. aft tt larry told him tt as he was walkin out fr the toilet juz now (which was when tao juz entered the toilet) he walked past tao's rm n saw his door slightly open. but he din tink it was weird since doors in hall usually open one... if only he had pushed the door open.. but den he wouldn't hve known to suspect anyt anw. so close lo... actually sj was on this rooftop tt was facing tao's rm too but he oso din notice anyt.
aft tt found out fr vincent tt its actually the second time tdy tt tao lost his wallet. the first time he left it in the canteen. luckily the canteen uncle kept it for him so he got it back... only to lose it again.. he so suay lo! somemore plus laptop. somemore during exam period. wa.. may the culprit burn in hell! argh!
anw everyone tried to look for anyt suspicious.. kept lookout at the exits of the blk n oso help search every rm on his level. he made a police report but dun tink the police can do anyt abt it oso. tink its more of a deterrent ba. hm but weitao was q cool abt it la. tho he v pissed but i tink most ppl would hve broken down.. cos now exam period lose comp is q a jialut thing.. n no matric card no IC how to take exam?!
aft tt everyone oso no mood to stdy le so they decided to accompany him go eat supper, help him relax. such a nice bunch of ppl. =) anw aft tt they startin playin the blame game. mostly tryin to blame this guy cos he on IA n no exams. at first they blame him nv jio mahjong at 9pm. cos if he had den everyone would be in n the thief cannot steal anyt.. den aft tt they realised tao bathe v early tdy so asked him how come bathe so early.. he say cos morning they jio mahjong at 1am so he bathe now den can play later.. so everyone blamed tt guy again. for jioing mahjong.. if nv jio mahjong den tao wont bathe so early den wont lose his stuff! hhaahahah
n there was this guy hu kept tellin tao tt he can go make driver's licence w him le.. ahaah he sounded q happy tt he found company so everyone started suspectin tt he stole tao's wallet so he got ppl to accompany him to go do licence... haaaha
we tok tok tok outside his rm den another guy say wanna take his drink fr tao's fridge. den so suay.. the packagin lousy.. den spilled bubble tea all tao's floor.. hahahah really suay rite! hahah seems like bad things really occur in threes. but gd la.. three already. no more bad karma for him! =)

a week of nightmares?!
hm technically speaking, exams are next week so next week shld be the nightmare week. but this week seems to be the start of nightmares. literally.
juz back fr breakfast w a few of the uys. den tao said he wanted to go back to slp aft breakfast. he said he super tired tho he slept damn long cos he was dreamin tt he was joggin throughout the night. when he woke up he felt damn tired. WHAHAH. den vincent said wat if later he go back to slp den dream tt he joggin again.. den he'l feel even more tired. den if it carries on for the next few days he'l be the fittest guy arnd. hahhah n also the most tired guy arnd.
den edwin was sayin he oso had a nightmare. he dreamt tt they tried to change his thigh bone for him. they cut open his thigh, took out his bone n put in a new one. BUT DEN... they could not close up his thigh to sew up the opening. so his thigh muscle was juz flappin arnd when he moved. so in real life while he was sleepin, he din dare to move his leg..
n a few days ago i dreamt tt there were 2 dead black cats in 肥肥's food container.. yucks. in the dream, i din know until i reached in to take some food n felt some furry thing. double yucks.
hm okies tt all abt nightmares. down to some serious stuff.
my fren's uncle juz passed away few days ago. He met with a lorry accident. oh man. life is really so unpredictable.. when i found out tt it was an accident, it juz reminded me of the pass few funerals tt i've been to. the unexpectability of the deaths. i mean, death n experiencing death of a closed one is a natural thing but it juz hits u worse when its unexpected. the first thing tt will come to mind would be how healthy n well the person was the last time u saw him or her.(rmb my coaches theory abt wanting to die a suddendeath?hm..)worse is if u felt tt u could hve done sth for him or her but din. it could hve made a difference. but den again, tt's life. u cant predict the future. u cant do everything. u cant care for everyone all the time. u make mistakes. u are not perfect. tt's how it is. as long as u've given ur best in the role u play in other's lives, tt's enough.
whatever happened would happen. maybe i believe tt one's life is predestined.maybe there is a greater someone behind all of these, plannin our lives n pullin on our strings of destiny as though we are all puppets in an extremely large scale n endless play.

WOOHOO!!
YAY!! i got Exxon Mobil for my IA! hope can learn lots of stuff fr there! if can learn alot, gain experience n high pay somemore.. wa tt's the best IA lo! WHAAHAHA will treat u guys when i get my first pay! muahahha
hahaha so excited now i'm q restless. hm wanted to go for this 830am lec cos its the last lec n shld be got tips.. but in the end i reached juz in time for the lecturer to end. so ended up goin sch early to eat breakfast w js n chunjie.
haahaha few days ago i saw vincent in the canteen. vincent is my grpmate for the proj w tt irritating person hu doesn't work. the both of us always complainin abt tt sucker. haaha den tt day when i saw him in the canteen, he gave me a crooked smile so i asked him y he smile until so mian qiang. den he say,' aiya i got ulcer la..' den i ask him how he got the ulcer. den tao said,'he bit himself when scolding *E**** (the sucker)'. whahahah
