The Refinery
went down to the refinery at 5pm juz now. Its the first time i've been to the refinery at night. Never thought tt the refinery could be so demoralising and depressing at night.
when we were walking inside, the sun was setting n the place got darker. suddenly the refinery seems to double in size. Everywhere u turn, all u see are pumps, motors, exchangers, towers, pipes n more pipes. and all of them are damn large scale. most of them are taller n bigger than me. n they seem to be engulfing me in this enormous place la. with my ear plugs on, all i could hear all arnd was the humming of the equipment.
n as i watched this engineer walkin away alone into the refinery, this sudden wave of sadness n lonliness juz hits me. n for the first time in my life, the tot of suicide actually flashed across in my mind. for tt split second. wow. i actually had the urge to climb up one of the towers den jump down fr there. hahaha even i got a shock at wat i was tinkg aft tt. hhahaha. now i understand y ppl actually commit suicide..
but it was an interesting experience la. i'm looking forward to goin into the refinery again. even at night. hahhaha
was supposed to meet xinli at 7pm at bugis. hahaha in the end i ended work at 7pm.. so my colleague decided to give us a lift to outram. n juz so suay tt AYE had massive jam cos got accident. so in the end still reach at 8 plus. whahahaha paiseh ar xinli!
we went 'Eatz19' to eat. SUPER NICE!! haaha i'm full of praises for tt place. next time we can all go. anyone hu wanna try can jio me oso. hahahaah yums!
